Those who lived through it will never forget the old Baltimore Colts first two NFL championships, which came back to back in 1958 and 1959. Led by legendary QB Johnny Unitas, this marvelous Colts team first defeated the New York Giants in what is known as “The Greatest Game Ever Played” and then repeated against the same Giants to put the icing on the cake. What better way to serve up these sweet memories than with this commemorative pair of fine china collectibles, crafted by Balfour of Attleboro, MA. Includes: 1) creamer pitcher with (46) facsimile signatures and 2) sugar bowl with separate lid also with (46) facsimile signatures. Both pieces present in excellent condition with clean glossy surfaces adorned with bold “Colt leaping over goalpost” logos and distinct blue facsimile signatures as noted above. Each item is marked on the underside with a Balfour hallmark. Also includes a 1x1" "charm" in (EX) condition that features a blue "Colt leaping over goalpost" logo against a silver background.
