Description

Juan Pizarro was born in Santurce, the same neighborhood San Juan Puerto Rico that later Yankee catcher Jorge Posada hailed from. Pizarro is the subject of this 1958-1960 game used zipper front flannel. The jersey features black on red twill "Braves 34" as well as a yellow-on-black twill tomahawk on the front in the same fashion as "34" appears on reverse. A "Wilson size 42" label decorates the front left tail and the jersey has moderate game use. The left sleeve features a "Braves" logo.
