“To know the Horrors of War is to want Peace”. Printed on the reverse of the cards in this classic vintage series, the wisdom of this statement is hammered home in bloody and gruesome fashion by stirring obverse art depictions of wartime carnage. Masterfully marketed to the ebb and flow of supply and demand trends to prolong the chase of opening packs, this fascinating set has enjoyed a lengthy stay at the top of advanced non-sport card collector's want lists. Get off to a very favorable start towards completing this challenging series, with this 1938 R69 Gum Inc. "Horrors of War" near set of (233/288). Consisting of a complete low numbers run of (192) and (41) different high number cards, this high powered collection also includes some exciting extras. Featured are:
